TDAR
● Symptoms and Causes
The T-cell-dependent antibody response (TDAR) to an antigen is a gold standard for assessing the impact of a drug on immune-competence at the preclinical stage of drug discovery. This model is a measure of immune function, which is dependent upon the effectiveness of multiple immune processes, including antigen uptake and presentation, T cell help, B cell activation, and antibody production.

●KLH Induced TDAR Model 【Mechanism】In recent years, the utility of the primary response to KLH (i.e., formation of anti-KLH IgM antibody) has been demonstrated to serve as a toxicological endpoint to detect any immunosuppressive potential of new drug entities. |
